Men's Fixtures

Men's Club Championship

The format is 54 hole of stroke play over 3 consecutive Sundays(18 holes each day). Players are divided into three grades based on their Daily Handicap at the commencement of the first round. The Match Committee reserves the right to vary the handicap grades prior to the Champions.

  • A Grade: 0 to 12
  • B Grade: 13 to 21
  • C Grade: 22 to 36

There will be a Gross Champion & Runner Up. Trophies will also be awarded to the Gross Winner in B & C grades. Should a player from B grade win the Club Championship or be runner-up then the next best B grade player will be winner of the B Grade. There will also be a Net Champion & Runner up.

A player can only win one trophy. 

To qualify for the Men’s Club Championship a player must have played in a t least 6 club fixtures from opening day of the winter season of that year. This includes Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday fixtures. Two of the six must be Sunday competitions. 

Men's & Mixed Foursomes Championship

The format is 28 holes of stroke play over 1 day. There will be both Gross & Net Trophies. The Gross Trophy winners cannot also win the Net Trophy. To qualify for the Foursomes Championships player must have played club games from 1st of January.

Men's Other Trophy Competitions

Monthly Mug: This is calculated on the best 4 rounds from the 8 monthly mugs available. Eclectic: The accumulated best scores on each hole over the season for those events marked with asterisk. The result is subject to handicap (gross less half the players final exact handicap). There will be a sperate eclectic trophy for Thursday players using the same formula, but ALL Thursday will count. Consistency: For those events marked with an asterisk, point are accumulated for performances measured against net par (36 points, square or net 72) for the day. 5 points are wared for playing to par or better, 4 points for 1over par, 3 points for 2 over par, 2points for 3 over par and 1 point for 4 over par.
